Simple Tips to Folding Laundry
I went to a seminar once about stress and the speaker, a Dr. of the mind said something that I immediately began to implement into my life. He stated, Do not get stressed about laundry not being done because it is never done. He went into a little speak about it's off it's on and this and that. And sure I have done laundry naked, we all have…but if there are slept in sheets or dish clothes or hand towels hanging..it really is not done. I think we should just accept this fact.
I used to have to completely fold all of my laundry and keep caught up all the time. A weird work schedule a couple of years ago allowed me to slow down in the laundry stress area. What? Laundry Stress? What the heck gives life the right to give us laundry stress?
Don't fold the daily stuff. Socks, towels, clothes etc. Sure separate and put them away but don't fold them and see how much time you save.
Keep your dish towels and clothes in a deep drawer in your kitchen keep towels in back and cloths in front and do not fold them just cram them into the drawer and walk away.
If you can get a sock drawer for each person that is good. How they keep it is up to them. Put them in a basket and get together to separate as a family. When you ask? When to do this chore? The person who first realizes they are nearly out of socks will organize the date and time, it will vary based on each person's busy schedules.
Where do you keep your bath towels? Do you have shelves, drawers or do you need a "bin" of sorts?
