Pink Appliances Make Great Gifts for Her (or Him) on Valentine's Day
The KitchenAid company is well known for it's selection of bold colors of many small appliances, especially the lines of stand mixers. KitchenAid dedicates the color pink to the Cook for the Cure Product Collection. A generous amount of money has been donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to date from the sale of these appliances. There are several small pink appliances, even a toaster. After purchase, the pink products must be registered for the donation of up to $50.00 to be processed.
The 3 cup capacity pink KitchenAid Food Chopper is eligible for a $7.00 donation to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. The Cook for the Cure series of pink appliances also includes the 12-Cup Food Processor which offers a hefty $25.00 donation that can go toward the popular breast cancer research fund. Check the KitchenAid website for details.
Pink has been a color to define females for decades, how many times have you eaten a cake smothered in pink frosting for the baby shower of a girl? Pink is a great color, and even though some women do not like it, pink is a feminine color. A pink Valentine's Day gift will most likely be well received when given. Most women who hate pink make sure everyone knows it. Pink appliances make great gifts for the woman with the themed pink kitchen, or the gay in your life who is not afraid to adore pink. In addition to making someone happy, the donation will be put to good use to finding the cure.
