You Got It Toyota

You Asked For It, You Got It Toyota

Those are the words of the popular Toyota was jingle that was played in the late 1970's.  If you are old enough to remember it, you may begin to sing it, or at the very least sing it in your head for at least the rest of today - haha, I am not sorry.  It is a good little jingle.  I encourage you to sing it aloud so those around you will begin humming or singing it too.  Things have a way of catching on.

The jingle referred to the product and was a positive jingle.  I am afraid if it was in any media form today that it may cause anger, but then everything causes everyone to be angry these days - Who cares?  Everyone cannot be happy.  Luckily, there are people who do not drive Toyota's and do not have to be impacted whatsoever.  I am one of those, but I want to support those of you who have chosen this product.  I have shopped it in the past for certain.  For those who are Toyota drivers, I am sorry you are going through a recall of a big major purchase.  If I were going through that, I would be very disappointed that something I worked so hard for, such as a car has to interrupt my life.  It is not that I could not handle it, or be satisfied with the resolution, it just irritates me that we little people work hard for things and have to deal with incidents.  Hopefully the company will do the right thing and treat the customers with complete fairness and honesty.  If they do not, then they will not be in business much longer (and should not be).  I see they are making commercials to support and comfort customers, that is good.  It seems as if they are doing the right things.  Haulting production and sales, a no brainer, but they did, this is a good thing.

The head of the DOT really mislead people the other day when he made the statment to quit driving the cars involved in the recall.  I pictured, work call offs and other delays for those of you who drive these vehicles.  I hope the retraction is because he spoke way out of line and induced what I can only imagine to be is near panic to Toyota owners.

I will provide any details with future posts if I hear of any helpful tips or major problems from the end users I know.  Even though I am not a Toyota driver, I am a driver and I want the problem resolved as well.  We all need to be safe while driving.  I wish I drove a Tundra.
